This week, we studied affirmations. . The one given to us is wonderful and brought me great comfort many times this past year as I would awake with anxious thoughts.The Law of Substitution applies – you can’t think of two things at the same time, so “when thoughts of anger, jealously, fear or worry creep in, just start your affirmation going.
The way to fight darkness is with light – – the way to fight cold is with heat – – the way to overcome evil is with good.” MK 9-28 .
Find the affirmation that works for the circumstance in which you find yourself. What is it that you need? What do you lack? That is the material that you use for your personal affirmation. We are reminded that whatever is desired for yourself, affirm it for others as well, and it will help you both. “Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” Giving and receiving!Any ill thought about any subject can be erased, any anxious moment can be made calm by repeating affirmations that are meaningful and true.
