Commencement time for the 2015-2016 MKMMA Class! Yay!
And as Mark J. reminded us, commencement is not the end – it is just the beginning. For MKMMAers, it is the beginning of the life they were meant to live.
The last six months has brought breakthroughs and breakdowns – breaking down the walls of cement that have been layered on over the years, and shucking the “shoulds” that others have ‘should on’ us from the time we were small. At times, the breakdowns have been painful as our old blueprint fought for relevance in our new lives. But as time passes, the pain lessens and our new, glorious selves have emerged.
The MK reading this week summarized the whole point of the class for me in 24:15 – “. . . No form of error can exist when the “Truth” appears, so that your entire mental work consists in coming to an understanding of the Truth. . .” That’s it. Simple. Not easy. But nothing worthwhile ever is easy.
Also this week, our exercise is to “. . .realize that this is truly a wonderful world in which we live, that you are a wonderful being, and that many are awakening to a knowledge of the Truth, and as fast as they awake and come into a knowledge of the ‘things which have been prepared for them,’ they, too realize that ‘Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither hath it enterd into the heart of man’ the splendors which exist for those who find themselves in the Promised Land.”
Fitting, I think, that this is Easter Sunday. I have been redeemed from the power of sin and death through my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ – and He has put me in this course to free my mind from the power of bondage that it has been under for over fifty years and to show me His love in a new and marvelous way by helping me understand how He created my mind, and give me a glimpse of the glory that is to come.
Thank you, Mark J and the Fab D for listening to the Herald’s call in your lives and entering into the Hero’s Journey – then stretching your hands back to bring the rest of us along on the path. This IS indeed, a wonderful world!
