I’m usually a very grateful person.
I always see the glass half full, and can find something positive in almost every situation, but my favorite holiday was a bit different this year.
We had loads of food purchased because we were planning to send leftovers home with three people; however, it was never prepared. The turkeys stayed in the freezer, the green bean casserole never assembled, and the jellied cranberry sauce is still in the ‘fridge. Itthatshallnotbenamed had shown up (see Week 9’s blog).
(By the way, the pies did disappear. I won’t say how.)
But I’m still grateful. It is now four weeks post-Thanksgiving, and although we missed the meal, we did not miss the thankfulness.
I am thankful for all of you, for all our blessings, thankful that Bryan and I overcame Itthatshallnotbenamed, but mostly because this is the third anniversary of my son Chris’ second chance at life.

What are you thankful for this year?

I am very thankful for your friendship and guidance 🤗❣️
You are awesome!
Thanks for reading my blog!
I’m also very grateful for my family! …and the pies magically disappeared at our house too! 🙂
I wonder what happened?!?
Nancy, good for you for being a glass half full person. From your blog rover friend John.
There is ALWAYS something good to see, if you look for it!
