Things always smooth out by the end of week two.
The tribe has formed, members are getting used to Marco Polo, their daily readings, working on their DMPs, and arranging their schedules to accommodate all the ‘new’ in their lives.
There are so many “news” that need to be incorporated into the member’s usual routine, that it can feel overwhelming for the first few weeks. Our tribe is ready to work, ready to change, and ready to go!
This year, our tribe represents eighteen different cities, in seventeen states and I’m excited that we are going to get to know each other and be support for each other while we create our best lives!
The east coast is represented well by Dylan in New Hampshire, Eva and Rita in New Jersey – same city – I wonder if they know each other? Maria is the first member I’ve had from Connecticut, Ron is from Massachusetts and Ruthellen is here from Pennsylvania.

Moving south along the eastern coast, Felton is joining from North Carolina then Nicole is in Georgia, and Hugh and Mary R. from Florida. Elle is in Kentucky, and going east, Matthew is representing Louisiana. I’ll be going to Georgia and Louisiana in a few weeks – maybe I can look them up! Mary D., Len, and Brad are holding down the Midwest; she in Iowa, Len in Illinois, and Brad in Wisconsin, all to the northeast of me in Kansas.
We make a short stop in the Rockies for Vanessa in Colorado, then get to Jason in the northwest in Washington. Our tour of the US concludes with Mandy, Rav, and Christina in California, so we go coast to coast!
It’ll be fun getting together on Zooms through the four different time zones, but we will find a time that works and we are going to have some fun!

Well Well, Nacey.
18 different cities in your tribe, Nice!

Spread out everywhere in the lower 48! Waiting for those Alaskans to join us!
Ya, that would be great, maybe you can meet someone who runs a dog sled team.
True coast to coast representation! What an exciting time it will be on this year’s journey.
It’s a great tribe this year!
