I like to see blessings in everything!
Here was an unexpected one that I got this week!
I was indoors speaking with a friend while my hunny and two sons were outside on the driveway visiting with a neighbor. A woman drove by and stopped and motioned my husband over so she could tell him something.
She told him that she loves hearing the piano music coming from our home in the early morning as she walks by, and was very concerned when she didn’t hear it for several weeks. He reported that we had been down with itthatshallnotbenamed for several weeks, so I was sleeping when she took her morning walk. She was very relieved to hear that we were doing better and asked him to let me know that it’s a blessing to hear the music.
“An early-morning walk is a blessing for the whole day.”
H.D. Thoreau

I practice very early before I need to be at work at 6 a.m., and I had noticed a woman walking by from time to time. My dog an I have casual conversation throughout the day, so when he gets excited and starts to bark at the window when he sees her, I tell him, “Calm down, that’s just our 4:30 Lady.”
So, she told my husband that I was blessing her with my playing, and that message certainly blessed me! I am so glad that she took the time to send that message to me.
You just never know, do you? The simplest things can bless others and connect us to them!
“You don’t have the power to make rainbows or waterfalls, sunsets or roses, but you do have the power to bless people by your words and smiles. You carry within you the power to make the world better.”
S. G. Larsen
Whose world will you make better today?

That’s so wonderful that you provide beautiful morning music for your neighbors! An excellent side benefit for the ones who get out and walk that early in the AM! 🙂 (What an adorable little doggo!)
Thank you, he’s very special around here!
Nancy, good for you for showing us we can bless others without even knowing we are. From your blog rover friend John.
Thanks as always, John!
You are welcome as always, Nancy.
