When you have the opportunity to see someone, go do it!
I first “met” Richard Barton back in – probably 2015 or 2016, on-line as a student then guide in the Master Key program. He was a great contributor, asking and answering questions during the webinars and in the alliances.
When Bryan and I attended the MK Live event in 2018, I saw him across the room and of course, knew who he was, so ran over to introduce myself and give him a big hug. We hung out together in the afternoons, and enjoyed sharing a drink at the bar with Jason and Lisa one evening.

During summer guide training, Pop gave me the key that FINALLY helped me remember the differences for speaking with members in their color – though the Color Code system: Red – get ‘er done. White – just the facts, ma’am. Blue – let me help you. Yellow – life is a cabaret! Those simple lines changed Color Code frustration to simplicity for me! Pops was full of wisdom that he shared freely with those around him.
In 2019, Bryan and I took a trip south to see my aunt and cousins, and on the way home, we shared a delightful lunch with Pops and his love, Pat, as we passed through their home town.

During the 2020 guide training, just as we were getting ready to start the session, we found that Pops was in rehab – I never knew why, but it didn’t matter – he was still on MarcoPolo, answering questions and contributing as he always did. He seemed to be doing better, and then we heard – on October 12, he suffered a heart attack and passed from this life to the next.
We miss him, as I know so many family, friends an acquaintances do. I hope you will enjoy this short tribute to our friend, Pops.
Who do you need to go see? Now is the only time!

Beautiful tribute to him!
I appreciate it. Thanks for stopping by, Robert!
