More evidence of why my town is the best town!
So – After the Chiefs won the Super Bowl, of course we had to have a parade. In typical Kansas City fashion, there was a big celebration – and there was no rioting, no looting, no arson, and only five arrests during the 11-13 hours many fans spent in fun and frivolity at Union Station, along the parade route, and celebrating in the Power and Light District.
Estimated crowd size on the frigid and snow-dusted day was around one million. The first arrest was three hours before the parade started. With fans claiming their spots along the barricades, two people thought it would be a good idea to joy-ride through the route.

The next guy thought he had a good plan to crowd surf on his horse, I’m guessing the police thought differently:

Then there was that other guy – you know, the one at every party that you know your sister wants to bring home to meet the folks – yeah, that guy – naked butt guy who fell out of the tree and was arrested:

All in all, a very good day for Kansas City, and an excellent day for the KCPD!
