It’s amazing to me how many times I’ve repeated, “Do it Now!”
If I’ve done it as I should since I started the Master Keys, it should have been about 96,600 times. Phew! That’s a mouthful!
You would think that would have soaked in by now – but in this particular case, you’d be wrong! We have a janky corner of our back yard that has underground utility boxes in it – – š It’s nice having underground utilities, because we get fewer power outages that way, but it’s an eyesore.

Lovely, isn’t it? Anyway, the fence is new, but we are going to revise it so that the boxes are behind it, and when we were out measuring, etc., the other day, I lamented to my DH, “I wish we would have planted Blue Spruce years ago when we moved in. They would have been fully mature by now, and so much prettier than – – – yuk.”
I know there were reasons – like we were young, had small kids, and no money, but still! The small trees now are about $39 each. I could have asked for 3 of those for Christmas one year, and I know my dad would have been happy to give me those.
After a very few minutes, I thought to myself, “Why not now? Why can’t we plant the trees now? Twenty-seven years have passed since we moved in, and we hope to be here at least another 27 more, so DO IT NOW!!
I talked to my DH about it this morning, and he said, “I thought about that after we talked yesterday, and thought, ‘Why not’ so let’s do it!”

Wouldn’t this look nicer in the yard than those ugly utility boxes? I think so, too! DO IT NOW – or in the spring!

And because I can:
Nancy,
I love reading your blogs. They either make me laugh, remind me of an inspiring lesson, or appreciate your friendship even more. Thanks for reminding me of the important lesson of doing things now.
Thanks! I appreciate that you stopped by to read it!
Happy 2020,
I hope you have a fabulous TRIP around the Sun. Which will include seeing me in Billings, MT. on your way to Spokane, WA.
You are a fabulous Guide to follow you. I am so glad for your last 11 1/2 weeks of MKE.
Hope your tribe finds the TRUTH in the Franklin Makeover, and creating for yourself/themselves a Journey to look forward to every minute of your tribeās lives. (You make a Difference)
SOOO Glad you posted Week 15. You are setting a great example for the membership.
Isnāt this MKE amazing. Yes, It is difficult and challengingā¦but each requirement is for your benefit. If you donāt do it, itās like leaving food on the table, or worse $$$ thrown in the garbage. Yesterday is gone. the Past is overā¦. canāt do anything about itā¦.just proceed forward and into the future, and fully taking the present time, present moment, present energy to FULL ADVANTAGE.
Glad to be on this years class journey with you.
Thanks, Julia! I appreciate the kind words, and hope to see you in August!
