Have you ever heard something so beautiful, it took your breath away?
In December of 2019 – back when the world was normal, my husband and I went to a concert I had wanted to see for many years. We have a magnificent performing arts center and the concert was here! Yay!

I have loved Meinheim Steamroller for years and this was a thrilling experience! I especially loved the harpsichord, as I had never heard one live. As you can imagine, the entire concert was spectacular! I was unaware that they tour two bands at a time at Christmas time, one red and one green.
They did something really creative that enabled every concert goer – whether red or green – the ability to hear Elyse Davis sing “Greensleeves”.
They played this video on the giant screen and I was captivated. By the time it was over, I had tears streaming down my face. The percussion, the arrangement, – – but her voice, her voice! I don’t know if you will have the same reaction, but I hope you will find some beauty in it!
What takes your breath away?

Wow Nancy! Awesome share. Thanks for the follow. I truly appreciate it.
I appreciate you stopping by, Elena! We’re all in this together. 🙂
That is so beautiful 🥰
It is so cool it gives me chills!
I was able to see Mannheim Steamroller in concert twice. Once, way up at the top of the area and the other time I splurged and got a table right down on the floor right in front of the stage. It was so worth the splurge! Thanks for sharing!
It was wonderful – glad you got to enjoy it twice! Our seats were really good – I so appreciate our Performing Arts Center. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
I haven’t been to a Mannheim Steamroller concert but it sounds like a great one to go to if you want to get into the holiday spirit! Our family was able to Livestream the Trans Siberian Orchestra concert this year, which took my breath away! Music and being with family are both so uplifting!! 🙂
If you get a chance, you MUST go – it was awesome!
Nancy, what such a nice voice she has. Thanks. From you blog rover friend John.
