I had a friend ask the other day, “What is your favorite Christmas song?”
When I was a child, I distinctly remember “O Come All Ye Faithful” was my favorite. I remember sitting in a very full Baptist church singing that on Christmas Eve – I was probably about eight. I remember sitting toward the back on the left – wearing my coat, feeling very crowded as people were pressed all around.

I probably remember that because it was so odd. We didn’t normally go to church, and this was at night!
Later, as I became older, “O Holy Night” became a favorite. It is so powerful, and I love singing it – of course, I can’t hit the high notes, but I still love it.
For the last several years, I have a new favorite. It speaks to everything that is the birth of Christ. And it is my heart song through all the ups and downs in life. It’s all I need. All Is Well.
All Is Well
All is well, all is well
Angels and men rejoice
For tonight darkness fell
Into the dawn of love’s light
Sing Ale
Sing Alleluia
All is well, all is well
Let there be peace on earth
Christ is come – go and tell
That He is in the manger
Sing Ale
Sing Alleluia
All is well all is well
Lift up your voices and sing
Born is now Emmanuel
Born is our Lord and Savior
Sing Alleluia
Sing Alleluia
All is well
Born is now Emmanuel
Born is our Lord and Savior
Sing Alleluia
Sing Alleluia
All is well

All is well and faith will carry us far. Thank you!
Thank you for stopping by, Melissa!
What a beautiful song! Thanks for sharing it, Nancy!
Thanks, Adi!
Thanks for sharing. I had not heard this song before and it was beautiful. I just love the Christmas songs of love, faith, family, and celebration.
For me, it’s not Christmas until I hear this song. Thanks for stopping by, Pam.
