As a guide, when one of my Tribe members gets stuck and thinks that they aren’t making progress, I tell them to go look back at their previous blogs and see how far they’ve come. So, being a little stuck for this week’s blog post – I took my own advice.
I went back to Week 7-2014 when I was a student going through the MKMMA for the first time, then I went to Week 7-2015 when I was an intern guide.
A few things jump out at me – first, I used food analogies in each – cheese and eggs. (Hmm, time for an omelet?) Then I saw how totally lost I was as a student, and how much better I was a year later. I NEVER want to forget how I felt as a first-time student! I saw how others came along side of me in their comments and pointed out things I didn’t notice myself. (masterminding!) From this vantage point, I know I didn’t quit – and I pressed on toward the goal to win the prize. What’s the prize? I’m partnering with God to recreate my mind, thus recreating my life. Pretty awesome prize, don’t you think?
